Prokesova with bronze, waiting for silver?!

Katarina Prokesova (SVK) took bronze medal in Double Mini Trampoline Finals Saturday
in 18th European Championships in St. Petersburg (RUS). Results in competition may
change afterwords. Deuner Kathrin from GER received incorrect difficulty index and
Slovak delegation filed complain, which will be solve later and Prokesova should receive
silver medal instead of bronze. Katarina also placed 10th in Trampoline Women's Preliminaries.

Katarina Prokesova (SVK), bronze on Double MiniTramp from 2001 Trampoline World
Championships Odense (DEN) in July 2001 today started European Championships in St.
Petersburg (RUS) very well. She took first place in prelimaries.
Petrovic, Homolova and Pavlickova with gold from Zagreb

Slovak seniors and juniors competed in Stepan Boltizar Memorial in Zagreb (CRO) last
weekend. In men's competition Jan Petrovic (Slavia UK Bratislava) won rings
with 9.300. Samuel Piasecky (Gymnastik Kosice) took 3rd place on bars (8.100).
Women Jana Drabikova (Inter Slovnaft Bratislava) - 4th in All Around, 4th
on vault (8.150), 5th on beam (7.750), 6th on bars (7.100). Jana Luptakova (Detva)
- 8th in AA, 3rd on bars (7.900).
Juniors - women: Petra Mudrakova (Slavia Trnava) - 5th in AA, 6th on bars
(7.150), 6th on beam (7.000). Maria Homolova (Detva) - 6 in AA, 1st on floor
(8.300), 5th on beam (7.300). Natalia Pavlickova (Slavia Trnava) - 8th in AA,
1st on vault (8.550), 5th on floor (8.100). Ivana Kovacova (Inter Slovnaft
Bratislava) - 12th in AA. Adriana Hilmerova (UMB Banska Bystrica) - 15th in AA,
3rd on vault (8.450).
Beluginova 41st in Individual Qualificaton

Katarina Beluginova (Slovakia) finished at 41st place in Individual Qualifying Competition
at 8th European Championships in Rhythmic Gymnastics. Her scores:
17.375, 18.200, 18.125, 18.825. Total = 72.525. Total 3 = 55.150

international judge and president of Slovak Rhythmic Gymnastics Federation Libusa Schonova
left Tuesday for Granada (ESP) to compete at 8th European Championships in Rhythmic Gymnastics
this weekend.

Jan Petrovic (Slavia UK Bratislava) won with 50.20 pts Gymnastics Championships
of Slovakia which took place in Bratislava on Saturday November 2nd. Second place took
Andrej Neczli (23.40 from three events) and third place Daniel Kamenicky (17.40).
The best in junior's competition was Alexander Benko with 50.60 pts.
In apparatus finals added Jan Petrovic three more golds for floor exercise, rings and vault.
Alexander Benko won finals on pommell horse and parallel bars and Pavol Mikus was the best on
high bar.

2002 European Championships in Trampoline
The 2001 Best Slovak Gymnast of the year and bronze medalist on Double MiniTramp from 2001
World Championships in Odense (DEN) - Katarina Prokesova will compete at 18th European
Championships in Trampoline which will take place in St.Petersburg, Russia, 9th - 17th November
2002.

Alexander Benko from Slovakia took fifth place on Floor with 8.40. In qualification he took 4th
place with 8.80. His other results: 12th on Rings (8.20), 15th on Pommel Horse (8.30).
Andrej Neczli took 9th place on Rings (8,55 b), 11th on Parallel Bars (8,40 b) and he
also competed on High Bar.
Jan Petrovic had a fall on Rings (8,40), got injured and withdrow from competition
