took 11th place among gymnasts from 10 countries at 3rd Stella Zakharova Cup in Kiev
with 52.450. He also qualified for Sunday's finals on parallel bars (5th with 9.275) and

Only 4 gymnasts participated in 2004 Slovak Men's Artistic Gymnastics Championships. The
only one competing on all six events - 2003 Slovak Champion Samuel Piasecky (pictured)
won this year again with 51.850 points. Second place took with 41.500 points Jan
Petrovic who had to skip Rings because of recent shoulder injury. For the same reason -
injuries - Alexander Benko (3rd with 26.900)and Andrej Neczli
(4th with 26.400) competed only on three events.
Piasecky won pommel horse and share the titul on floor exercise with
Benko who was the best on vault together with Petrovic. Neczli won rings, parallel bars and
high bar. Ude Filip (CRO) who lives in Slovakia competing as a guest had 52.100 points

Bad news came from Slovak men's national team coach Martin Zvalo (pictured).
Due to injury of Samuel Piasecky and Jan Petrovic Slovak team withdraw from prestigious
28th Tournament Of Masters in Cottbus (Germany). During practise on pommel horse Piasecky
injured his shoulder. Jan Petrovic suffered the same injury on still rings. All this bad luck
came less than 6 weeks before European Championships in Ljubljana (SLO) and two weeks before
Slovak National Championships taking place in Bratislava March 20th.

to compete internationally after the 2001 World Championships, various changes
in her life have given her new motivation to continue. Now married and living
